Introduction

># dnf install -y vdo kmod-kvdo

Prerequisite

># parted /dev/vdb print
Model: Virtio Block Device (virtblk)
Disk /dev/vdb: 10.7GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: gpt

Configure

># parted /dev/vdb mkpart first 0G 10G
# parted /dev/vdb set 1 lvm on

# pvcreate /dev/vdb1
# vgcreate myvg-vdo /dev/vdb1

# lvcreate --name mylv-vdo --size 5G --type vdo myvg-vdo

# lsblk /dev/vdb -fp
